Bring two forms of identification, one of which must show your current name and address. Photo ID is not required.
The township clerk’s office handles election-related matters and coordinates with the county.
Other convenient options
Online: Illinois State Board of Elections at ova.elections.il.gov. You will need an Illinois driver’s license or state ID number (plus last four of SSN and date of birth).
By mail: Download the form from the DuPage County or Illinois elections site and mail it to the county.

Other township halls, village halls, and some public libraries in DuPage County also accept registrations.
Deadlines (2026 general election, Nov. 3)
Regular registration (mail or in-person at offices): 28 days before the election.
Online registration: 16 days before the election.
Grace-period / same-day registration: Available in person from 27 days before the election through Election Day itself (bring two IDs).
